Cables for BLE Series RS-485 Communication Type

Use a connection cable if the motor and driver will be positioned far apart. Use a flexible connection cable in applications where the cable is bent and flexed repeatedly.

Note:
When extending the connection cable by splicing it as an extension cable, keep the total length of the cable to a max. of 20 m (using up to 3 cables max.)

This cable is convenient for connecting FLEX compatible products to various equipment that is Modbus-controlled by RS-485 communication.
A general-purpose type with unbundled wires at one end of the cable and a dedicated type that can connect directly to the programmable display from Schneider Electric Japan Holdings Ltd. are available.

Do not bend the cable at the connector. Stress applied to the connectors and terminals causes poor contact and disconnection.

Wiring should be installed at an appropriate length, so that cables are not pulled during movement.

Interference of the Cable

Wire the cables in the cable holder without bringing them into contact with each other. This will add stress to the cable, and cause it to break prematurely. Please check note on cable holders carefully before use.

Cable Kinks

◇Please wire without kinks in the cable. Kinking in a twisted state can cause premature disconnection. After wiring, confirm that there are no kinks in the cable, using the print on the cable surface as a reference.
